Voluntary Organisations

If an organisation or activity is not provided in Clifford itself, details of what is on offer elsewhere in the locality are provided.

If you help to run an organisation or group which caters for people in Clifford and you would like information included, please get in touch with the clerk to Clifford parish council.

Clifford parish council is able, within certain limits,  to provide financial support to local organisations which provide facilities and activities for local residents.  If you would like to find out more about this type of funding, contact the clerk to the parish council

Outlook - Your village magazine

The magazine, published at the turn of each month, is run by a voluntary committee and delivered free to every home in the parish by a team of volunteer distributors. It carries news of village events, articles by residents, advertisements for local businesses, public notices, etc. and 'articles for sale' (£1 per item). It is financed entirely by advertising.  Articles must be received by noon on the 10th of the month (including Saturday and Sunday)

Clifford Village Hall Management Committee

Manages the affairs of the Village Hall including lettings etc.
Meets on the second Monday of January, March, May, July, September and November at the Village Hall commencing 2:00 p.m.

Clifford Village Hall Supporters' Committee

Events planned for 2013 are Quiz nights on Fri 15 March and Fri 15 November, Clifford Champion Beer Festival  (together with Clifford Football Club) on Sat 29 June and the Village Show on Sat 07 September. 

We also run the Book Stall in the Village Hall and welcome any unwanted books in good condition.  Please get in touch if you have any suggestions for other fund raising activities.
