At the parish council meeting on 20th January, a representative of Leeds City Council's City Development Department said that streetlighting work in Clifford is scheduled to recommence on 1st February.  Roads to receive new lighting included Bramham Road, Boston Road, Chapel Lane, Church Street, Cinder Lane (between St John's Road and High Trees School ONLY) and High Street, with one column to be re-sited on Willow Lane.  The lighting work should be completed by the end of February, and those columns in the existing conservation area would then be painted black, along with those in Nursery Way, Albion Terrace and the rest of Chapel Lane.
